Elizabeth Dillon endorses Rob for Park Commissioner

Everyone that knows me knows that everything I do is for my children. In fact, my concern about the safety of my children and the 60 others on my street drove my recent 1.5 year-long effort to finally get speed humps on Governors after nearly 50 years of fighting by our neighbors.  And, it's why I’m working with neighbors to get traffic control measures in many other parts of town too.

Because I care so much about our Town’s children and their safety, I strongly support Rob Levash for Parks Commissioner.

Rob has already spent years making our parks safer.  As the recent chair of the Community Preservation Commission, Rob obtained necessary funding for LED lighting for Middle Gile Field at the High School, not only saving our teams thousands of dollars annually, but affording kids like mine and yours an opportunity to play more games safely under the lights.  Rob and his wife Jaime, who is on the Youth Advocacy Task Force, are already working cooperatively with our teens to develop safe places to spend time with friends in lieu of drinking in the parks. Rob is also a champion fundraiser, working to match taxpayer dollars with private grants to ensure that our tight town budget does not stand in the way of making sure our parks, fields and playgrounds get the attention they need.

Through his ten-year master plan, Rob is committed to ensuring that Milton Parks are and remain safe, inclusive and accessible for all Miltonians.  That is why he has been endorsed by 4 former Parks Commissioners, and why I give Rob my strongest endorsement.  I encourage you to visit his website, Robformilton.com, and consider voting for Rob Levash on April 30.
