Milton Wharf Planning Study & Accessibility for Milton Farmers Market

I recently attended a community event to review three early planning options for the green space at Milton Wharf, home to Milton Farmer's Market. While I was chair of the Community Preservation Committee, I was approached by Scott McKay who is on the board for Milton's Farmers Market. He explained that their existing green space had challenges for his vendors as well as the customers who found the very hilly site hard to navigate for anyone in a wheel chair or disability.

After my discussion with Scott, we believed the best way to remedy the situation was with good planning and to engage a Landscape Architect to research design options which would improve the park. Greg Lombardi Design was ultimately chosen with the investment of CPA funding to create a park which is accessible and welcome to all Milton residents. The first public community meeting was held a few weeks ago to review some schematic options. The three schemes were presented as below. A lot of community input was given and I look forward to seeing this project progress. Which option do you prefer and why? Would love to hear from you and provide any feedback to the design team!
